About NILS

Network for International Law Students

The Network for International Law Students (NILS) is an international, independent, non-political, non-profit-making organisation, run by and for law students. It seeks to promote legal awareness among all the people and encourage communication and cooperation among law students and lawyers internationally; contribute to legal education; promote social responsibility in the field of law; increase opportunities for students to learn about other cultures and legal systems worldwide; and publicize educational and career opportunities in law.

The NILS Network includes member law students and young lawyers from across twenty-one countries - Bangladesh, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, India, Iran, Ireland, Kenya, Malta, Montenegro, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Romania, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda and United Kingdom. They represent NILS at the local level, assist us in achieving our objectives and contribute to our ever growing diversity.
